Hi folks!

Captain Scrod wanted me to pass on a couple tips on placing bets for anybody reading, if you're new to the forum.
(And that would include just about everyone!)

If you ask a question, and there are only two possible answers (one winner or the other), then you'll only get one other person who can reply.
So in this case, the most Tip Treasure you can win, is $2.

What you can ask is "What will the score be?" in which case you could get tons of Tips in the pot. Tons of Tips! Arrgh!!! (*cough, er, sorry)

You can always modify your Tip Wager by opening the topic (as the Author) and clicking CLARIFY---- no one can edit or delete posts in this forum - Scrod says, "Card laid, card plaid!" and many other insightful things..

Also- remember to always give an answer yourself, so you have a chance to win, too! You're entitled to!
You get one answer per tip, so Bettina of course gets to give an answer here. And she did.

Uncle Jeff (your moderator) can't place any bets in this forum- so I can't give an answer here since I didn't chip in a STAKE.
